Demera set to shine – Mancini supports local IFBB competitor

Perth-based international trainer, professional security consultant and philanthropist, Ray Mancini, has backed local bodybuilder and fitness competitor, Shaun Demera in his latest opportunity to win an Australian title in body building. Demera heads to the Gold Coast on Thursday 26th November to compete at the 2015 Joe Weider’s Olympia Amateur Australia.

Mancini has provided financial aid and long-term support to Demera since their meeting in order to assist Demera with training, supplements and travel to enable him to compete at the 2015 Australian Amateur Olympia and National Championships. If Demera wins overall he will become eligible for a Pro card, opening new doors for his career as a bodybuilder.

Demera has been working hard consistently in the lead up to the competition at Snap Fitness Butler with Owner and Personal Trainer, Gerrard Wilson, helping with his training. Wilson is thankful for the support given to his client by Ray Mancini through Unleaded Beast, “We wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to Mr Ray Mancini, CEO and Founder of Unleashed Beast, and SIG GROUP, for the opportunity of representing his brand at this weekend’s IFBB 2015 Australian Amateur Olympia and National Championships. Mancini believes in supporting home-grown talent, “It’s very rewarding to see how far Shaun has come. He has an excellent track-record with competing and there is nothing stopping him from taking out this national championship”.

The competition is held over the weekend from the 27th-29th November at the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre. Only those who become overall Champions of Fitness, Figure, Bikini, Women’s and Men’s Physique or Bodybuilding will be eligible to apply for a Pro card that can see their career launched internationally. The completion is open only to IFBB-affiliated contestants and National Federations from Oceania and the South Pacific. Winners are then able to compete on an international level.

2nd Place – 2014 O’Mara State Championships Arnold Classic Qualifier, Men’s Physique, Open Tall
